From May 20th to 23rd, the 5th World Intelligence Congress was held at Tianjin. On the 21st, the Education Forum on Technology for Social Good and Artificial Intelligence kicked off at the Meijiang Convention and Exhibition Center.
The forum was hosted by the leaders of the College of Artificial Intelligence of Nankai University. Cao Xiaohong, Deputy Mayor of TianjinMunicipal People's Government, Gong Ke, Chairman of the Forum, President of the World Federation of Engineering Organizations and Executive Director of the CINGAI, Yang Qingmei, Deputy Secretary of Tianjin Municipal Education Commission and Wan Xinsheng, Vice President of Nankai University, attended the forum.

Durrani, Academician of the Royal Academy of Engineering, Jiao Licheng, Foreign Academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, Priti Padhy, Co-founder and CEO of Cognino, Wang Tao, Vice President of Tencent Cloud and Dong Feng, Professor at the Department of Computer and Information Sciences of the University of Strathclyde delivered keynote speeches.
At the roundtable discussion on “Artificial Intelligence and Basic Education”, Che Haiping, Senior Vice President of Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd., Wang Guangming, Dean of the Faculty of Education of Tianjin Normal University, Liu Jingtai, Director of the Institute of Robotics & Automatic Information System of Nankai University, Wang Yunhong, Director of the Artificial Intelligence Popularizing and Education Committee of China’s Association of Children’s Science Instructors, Liu Zhiyi, Director of the Intelligent Industry Research Institute of SenseTime, and Zhang Jingbo, Executive Deputy Director of the Institute of Digital Economy of Neuede in Beijing, gave their presentations.
