On June 2nd, the activity entitled “Center for Artificial Intelligence and Economic Society Meets Cangzhou” and the seminar entitled “Technological and Policy Development of Commercializing Automatic Driving” were held by the CINGAI in Cangzhou, Hebei province. Gong Ke, Executive Director of the CINGAI, led a research team to attend.
The team visited the Center for Apollo Automatic Driving Calibration and Maintenance in Cangzhou, where they experienced Apollo self-driving cars and knew more about the past, present and future of the automatic driving technology.
During the later seminar, Tang Yiwei, CEO of Cangzhou Yuntu Technology Co., Ltd., Yang Jie, General Manager of Canzhou Baidu Intelligent Driving Group, He Xia, Chief Engineer of the Institute of Policy and Economy of China Academy of Information and Communication Technology, Wang Jing, Associate Professor of the Department of Politics and Law of Party School of the Central Committee of CPC, Liu Gang, Chief Economist of the CINGAI, Zhang Xinhong, Chief Information Officer of The State Information Center, Li Guobin, Deputy Chairman of the Radio Association of China, Shu Huaying, Director of the Service Management Science Research Institute of Beijing University of Posts and Telecommunications, and Liu Jingtai, Director of the Institute of Robotics & Automatic Information System of Nankai University shared with each other their thoughts. Finally, the executive director Gong Ke made a conclusion for the seminar.
